Transition Work
This work is to be completed before starting your course. The work will be set on Taster Day and due in during the first full week of College. This work will be assessed alongside subject assessments and Attitude to Learning.
Task 1; research and complete the key concepts below by creating a table with the term and the definition. This is not a copy and paste exercise, you need to show that you have understood what these concepts are. Please ensure that you have a paper copy of the table ready for checking at the start of September.

For example: The war in Ukraine, Extinction Rebellion, tuition fees, the cost of living crisis, immigration, the environment.

Preparation for September
Find below the guidance on what will be required from September for your subjects. Subject textbooks are listed in priority order. Please see guidance before purchasing any textbooks.
Ensure that you have a good system of filing and maintaining your notes in place before you start the course.
Your folder should have;
File dividers for the different topics you will cover
Polly pockets for safely storing resources and assessments
Your folders will be checked termly to ensure consistency, you will appreciate an organised folder when you come to revise at the end of the course!
