Transition Work
This work is to be completed before starting your course. The work will be set on Taster Day and due in during the first full week of College. This work will be assessed alongside subject assessments and Attitude to Learning.

Questions are linked to GCSE level chemistry, but will be demanding and require thought and effort. Show the working out for the mathematical questions.
Submit answers to the 30 questions using the google form. Keep a paper copy of your answers, along with any workings out shown to be handed in during chemistry lessons.

Preparation for September
Find below the guidance on what will be required from September for your subjects. Subject textbooks are listed in priority order. Please see guidance before purchasing any textbooks.
You will need a folder for A level chemistry with dividers for five year 1 units and five year 2 units.
You must have a scientific calculator.
A mobile device that can be used to access online resources in lesson is highly recommended. Online practical method sheets will need to be accessed in class or printed out prior to the lesson.
