Posing your body can help to train is to feel strong, brave, and happy! Plus, it's fun to move our bodies in different ways!
Try to go somewhere quiet and familiar, a place that you feel safe. Next, try one of the following poses:
Try standing this way and practicing some positive affirmations. This week try:
"I matter.
I am loved.
I am safe.
I am enough."
After you have practiced this a few different times, ask yourself how you feel. You may be surprised!
Try practicing your Spidey Senses!
Find a spot, maybe in your yard, a new spot in your house, the kitchen table, and turn-on your “Spidey senses,”. This means to turn on your super-focused senses of smell, sight, hearing, taste, and touch that Spiderman uses to keep tabs on the world around him.
Ask yourself: What do you see? What do you hear? What do you taste? What do you feel? What do you smell?
Try setting a timer for 5 minutes. Can you sit and focus for that amount of time? Try to pause and focus your attention on the present, open your awareness to the information your senses bring in.
