About Me

Hello!

My name is Jocelyn Merritt and I will be your child's Grade 3 teacher! This will be my 7th year teaching and although I am new to Grade 3, I am beyond excited for the new challenge and to take this journey with your child and your family.

I have worked at Tiger Jeet Singh Public School, Pineview Public School, Anne J MacArthur, and now Boyne Public School. Growing up I lived in Campbellville and always dreamed of being a teacher, just like my big sister!

I went to the University of Guelph for my undergrad and then to the Nipissing University for teachers college. I have been working at Boyne since it opened and love working hard, being nice, and making a difference in the lives of all students at Boyne!

When I am not teaching I love spending time at my cottage, hiking, watching movies, cooking, entertaining, reading, exploring new places, and travelling. You can often find me on the volleyball court, playing golf, or working out and I am currently starting to take yoga classes.
