Get cozy with creatures.
June is National Aquarium Month. On a rainy afternoon, take a virtual aquarium tour online and check out all the intriguing sea creatures going about their business. Continue the fun by making a DIY fish craft with the kids. (Try homemade ribbon fish: You’ll need several strips of wide and thin ribbon in a variety of colors, googly eyes, and glue) Snack on fish sticks, Goldfish crackers, and Swedish Fish while you watch age-appropriate movies or documentaries and learn about ocean life.
Life is full of random facts and wonders. Have you ever heard someone tell you a random bit of information? Check out this very cool website and some of the wonders that they would like to share with you. You can even add in your own wonders! Did you know who invented the first TV? Check it out!
