Technology Requirements
To be able to access course information, you need proper equipment, computer systems, and technical specifications.
Computer with Internet Capability: Students are expected to supply their own personal computer with high speed Internet capability to access the course work. In some instances, a school may provide access to a computer to use at the school, either during or after regular school hours. Students should speak to their School Site Facilitator for more information regarding availability and accessibility.
Headsets: Students will need to have access to a computer that allows the use of headsets (microphone and headphones) or a computer with these built-in capacities (as most laptops have).
Software Requirements: To ensure that your computer is properly configured to run Canvas, please be sure to run the Browser Check. In general, Canvas runs best in the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
