Deficits in the content areas may require additional coursework. Actual courses vary and will be determined by Cohort Coordinators and must adhere to the Graduate Division's Course Applicability policies: http://www.manoa.hawaii.edu/graduate/content/course-applicability.

Independent studies must be approved by the candidate’s Cohort Coordinator(s) before enrollment. Faculty offer to teach and supervise independent studies by choice and are not required to participate.
