Introduction

This handbook sets forth the basic policies, requirements and procedures for candidates pursuing degrees in a Master of Education in Teaching (MEdT). It was prepared for MEdT candidates, teachers and other persons seeking information about the Master of Education in Teaching Program.

MEdT teacher candidates must read this very carefully so that they are clear about their responsibilities as a student and the responsibilities of the program to them. If you have any questions about any of the information presented herein, please ask your Cohort Coordinator or the Graduate Chair. The earlier you clarify any matter of concern to you, the less likely it will create any problems for you later. We wish you great success in pursuing your educational goals and hope that this handbook provides you with a good tool in meeting those goals.
