I have been invited to be part of a movie project where I will do voice acting and script writing. Put together by Levi Winsor and Hunter. Most of the content will be on their pages which are at the bottom of this one.

What unique qualities will your project have?

I haven't done a movie yet, let alone stop motion.

Day -1?

Today was when 8P8 was meant to be turned in, my 8P8 project was a How-To video which was required and didn't need a site, which is why 8P8 is missing from my site. I was done early so I started on this project. I'm just going to be ahead by one day. Today I'm just going to do script writing with Levi.

Day 1

Yesterday, I finished the plot and now I need to do the actual voice lines. Dennon is still on the fence about joining this movie. Today will be more scriptwriting.

Day 2

I'm truly starting to get sick of Levi, he has been practising my English accent all day and when I'm not, he talks about the script nonstop! whether I was in 2nd period, 3rd, 5th, or even after school, he would not stop babbling! I wish he would shut up when we aren't in tech. He never stops talking and my brain dies once he opens his mouth. Anyway, he said he would fix the script to make it better and I said "Bro, I don't care. As long as it makes sense." then he said "Why aren't you in your bri'ish accent?" with that stupid annoying grimace he does. anyway, I just did more scriptwriting and some lines. we had to re-write it because the first one made no sense. above is the script Levi wrote for the first plan of this movie. Dennon made me put in something controversial and I think I'm going to take it out of my edition of the movie. The line was, and I kid you not, "Hello! Can I help you with your tech support" for an Indian kid in the first scene... WHAT?! That seems a little offensive, I am not offended but I know some people will be.

Day 4

we did some filming and some voice acting, there isn't much else. Tomorrow we will finish voice acting and then do all the filming.

Days 5-6

I became sick with Covid-19 during this week, i have so many assignments to get caught up on, so today i uploaded the finished movie, did the reflection, and turned it in.

Reflection.

Using Lego, an iPad, and a Mac mini, I created a stop-motion Lego movie about a trolley horror movie because I thought working in a big group would be fun.
During this process, I learned how to voice lines work.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Knowledge Constructor because we didn't know how to use the iRig microphone In voice memos but we soon figured it out by searching on Google. (Dennon's answer)
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting COVID-19 for a week. I turned in the work a week later.
Given a chance to do this again, I would be here and not have COVID. The reason why I would change it is I feel bad putting in no effort In this movie.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This connects to this CTE program because we used various software to complete the project. Some software includes iMovie, voice memos, and the stop motion program. My project connects to careers in Animation. This is because we produced a stop-motion animation video that was tied to jobs in the animation field.
