8P2 - PC Building

This project is special, we chose our project and I have no idea. I do, however, want to work with my best friend, Dennon. he might have an idea. We wanted to build a newer box vr, from last year's cardboard project. His reflection from last year says he wants a one-size-fits-all head strap, and I have some ideas. We decided to scrap it and take apart a PC! I did the planing questions, and picked out a PC tower, and published.

I was absent this day, but my partner took apart the PC and did other parts of this project.

I checked my grades and it turns out I made the 8P1 video to long, so that's what I did at the start of today. We grabbed ou rPC and identified the first and most apparent  problem, the computer had no power

I fixed the video's length and resubmitted the assignment, but anyway. I continued the PC project and we added the power supply. We tested it on a monitor and it said boot disk failure.  

Today it finally worked! We were missing an entire component. Tomorrow I will start making the video. Today we also added Gauge Carpenter to our project because he greatly helped with it. It will take a while to make the video and even just to upload it. First thing tomorrow we will upload all the things and videos.

I tried ALL DAY to upload the videos for this project and because Apple is so dumb, NONE OF IT WORKED! I am very frustrated, but I have to try again tomorrow.

We need another day, all the uploads didn't work for air dropping becuase we couln't use google drive. So we need another day to install it. i feel discouraged and defeated, but i need to get this project out sooner or later.

Today, we officerly finished. we have evidence of it working but every single time we tried actually to make this stupid video. Wipe after deleting and just trying our hardest. the stupid disk space was packed even though there were 16 GBs of data left. All the videos couldn't be uploaded and we felt discouraged until today we decided it's over. we will end up with 60% because we don't have a video, even though the video, even if it could be edited, made, and finished. It couldn't even be uploaded. so we will take the 60% and finally start a new project.

We have an idea, and it sucks. We are recording the videos on Dennon's iPad and then he can make the video. We have an excuse for this video. Thanks, Apple you let us down, as always!

My comment from yesterday, "Thanks Apple!", has cursed us and now Dennon's iPad is full.

I'm going to start the reflection, my partners said they will figure out the video. so that's what I'm up to.

We need new iPads or something because I don't want to do this for every project.
