Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working with Gavin and Nolan
What materials will you need for your project?
Cardboard, hot glue, and other building materials.
What is your plan to create in this project?
We plan to make Juggernog from B02
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will actually look like it, and it will be pretty big in size.
Day-4 we made the boxes that the cans will sit it, and the buttons for it.
Day 5- We finished the vending machine and started the reflection for this project.
Day 6- We took the video of the vending machine dispensing cans, uploaded it to my site, and finished my reflection.

Using cardboard, hot glue, and scissors I created a working vending machine. I created this because I thought it would be cool ro see if we could make a working vending machine that would actually dispense cans. It can dispense 3 cans at a time before needing to be refilled. I also thought it would be a more challenging project than we would actually take time, and have to problem solve.
During this process, I didn't really learn anything new. I already knew how to make stuff out of cardboard. But, I learned how to better use cardboard to make my design better than it was. I also learned how to problem-solve when parts of the project were working right at the start. Plus, how to manage our time better, so we had enough time for the project to get finished.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Knowledge Constructor. My project is tied to this because I didn't know what design to do for the vending machine so we looked up possible ideas on how to make it. Such as A button or a lever for how the cans come out. Or how to store the cans in the machine.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the box we were using wasn't sturdy enough to hold the stuff inside. I was able to do it by adding more layers of cardboard on the inside. So that there would be more support, and that it wouldn't fall over. Another problem was that the sides were too long. But, we just trimmed them done so that it was easier to reach inside.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the vending machine. So, that it could hold more than 3 cans. The reason why I would change it is because we finished the project a little early and if we made it bigger it would've given us a bigger challenge. I would also paint the outside. So it could look better when you look at it.
