Day 1-I started on my 10 ideas, then I grabbed my iPad and started adding pictures to my movie I started by adding a picture of my favorite type of dog, then I added a picture of my two favorite games.
Day 2- I grabbed my iPad and started by putting background music like the song and sound effects such as cow moos and etc...
Day 3- On the third day I started by grabbing a mic and used it to put a voice recording over my pictures and background music that basically took the whole time.
Day-4 For this day I only added the titles and edited the transitions plus added extra sound effects and one extra picture to the end.
Day-5 For the last day of this project I only added the finishing touches and downloaded it to my google drive and so I finished the project one day before the deadline.
Using iPad, iMovie, and internet. I created a video about all of my favorite things such as video games, candy, sports, and restaurant. because I like to show people my favorite things so that people get to know me better.
During this process, I learned that you have to be very careful because people can lose lots of money of copyright. I also learned how to copy a picture and save it of iMovie and I didn't copyright. I learned how to put background music into my movie on iMovie.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Knowledge Constructor because I started this project without knowing how to doing anything with iMovie. I looked up stuff so that it would work correctly.
A challenge I overcame on this project was. That I did my voice recording and kept hitting play thinking that it didn't work and I almost had to restart the voice recording. I was able to do it by realizing that I had the microphone still plugged in therefore it was still working as a mic and not as a speaker so I unplugged it so I could hear it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of pictures so that my video was a little bit longer. I would also make more captions. The reason why I would change it is because I want the video to be a little bit longer like for 30 seconds to 50 seconds. I would add more captions so people would be able to understand why I used these pictures for my video.
