Daily Log
Day-1 Created list of ten and looked at other students work and started trying stuff with tinker CAD. I started a headphone holder.
Day-2 I continued to mess around and got my first ideas. I finished the headphone holder.
Day-3 I made a wire manager device so my wire don't get tangled and I don't have to waste time untangled.
Day-4 I started to make the jewelry holder so that your rings don't fall in the sink. I only got the whole.
Day-5 I finished the jewelry holder and did the finishing touches to the holder.
Day-6 I started and finished the reflection.
Day 1- Started a headphone holder but, it wouldn't be big enough.

Day 2-3- I made a wire manger to help my wire to not get tangled. I also made it from 9 to 6 holes, and added a finger hole so you can hold it.
Day 4-5 I made a jewelery holder to put by sink so they don't fall in.

Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project? 3D filament, tinker CAD.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I am making a wire management system.
What unique qualities will your project have? It will solve a problem that I can fix using a 3D printer.
Using tinker CAD I created a wire manager. I made this because the back of my desk look like a jungle. So if I made a manager for it it wouldn't look like it, so that why I made it.
During this process, I learned how to make holes in the box. I used to know how to do it but I forgot. I also learned how to change the grid size to inches instead of millimeters.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor. My project connect to this because I didn't know how to do somethings, but I looked up how.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to make holes. I was able to do it by asking people for help and then looking it up. If I didn't figure it out the 3D print wouldn't work because it needs holes. I also didn't know how to things to connect.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the thing I made to something that could help more than one person. The reason why I would change it is so that more people can use it and that it would just sit behind my desk and get forgotten. I want to show it off but it can't if it's behind my desk. There isn't really a problem with the final results in planned out like I had planned.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D CAD modeling. The pay of this is 63 thousand per year.
