I am working in a group of 2 with Jace.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need the four robots for this project and their own coding apps.

What is your plan to create in this project?

I plan to create something with every robot.

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will have super cool outcomes, and the coding will be super complicated.

Day 1- I worked on building my website and tried figuring out what to do for this project.

Day-2 I figured out what to do, and then learned that I couldn't do it.

Day-3 I started to make progress and started the video of dash breaking the walls, and got too 3 walls.

Day 4 On day 4 I finished the dash part of the project, and started making a course for the Sphero mini.

Day 5- Today I finished the course, and made the code, and finished the video.

Day 6- I started and finished the iMovie robot project,and made it say "Hot"

Day-7-8 I worked on my reflection for my project and updated my site.

Robot 3-iRobot

Using Sphero Edu and play, iRobot Coding, blocky, Dash, Sphero Mini, iRobot., I created multiple things. With Dash, I created a test on how many different Lego walls it could break. With the Sphero Mini, we coded it to get out of a maze that we built. And with the iRobot we coded it to make it write "Hot".I made this because these were some of the more creative ideas I came up with, and I don't think many people have done these things.
During this process, I wouldn't say I learned how to code. I would say I learned how to code more complicated. For example, instead of making the Sphero mini just make shapes, I coded it to get out of a maze that I made. Or for the iRobot instead of making a simple word like "ill" we made a little bit harder one in "hot".
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I didn't remember how to put the pen up on the iRobot. So, I looked up how to put the pen up so it could have spaces in between letters.
A challenge I overcame on this project was one of the days we were planning on doing a new robot the iPad app wasn't on the iPad so we couldn't work on the project. I was able to do it by figuring out something else to do with my time. Like fixing my website, and uploading any videos that needed to be uploaded.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of robots we did. The reason why I would change it is because I think we might have been able to do 1 more robot before the end of the project. If we did this it would show that we really put in the work on this project and that we didn't just mess around the whole time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programming program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in medical billing and coding. They usually make around 25-29 dollars per hour.
