What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to get images, put them in a movie, and create a voice over.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My movie will talk about my diabtes. Nobody else has diabetes, so it'll be special.

Today I built my website. I used formats that will help me plan my website. This includes my list of 10 and my planning questions. This way, I can stick to a plan and complete my project with ease.

Today, on the second day, I officially started my video. I decided my video was going to be about my diabetes. Then, I found images related to my diabetes.

On day 3 I added more images. I also added some sounds. I added a song to add some fun. I added some sound effects to add some humor to my video.

I added the final touches to my project. I added a voiceover, reasonable sounds and other soun effects.

I started my reflection. I made sure to add extra sentences to earn that 100%.

Today I thought I finished my reflection. I'm still going to add more, though.

I downloaded my video onto my website. I made everything look neat. I made my website professional.

Using iMovie, I created a movie that showed how I took better care of my diabetes because I felt it was important. I've made a lot better decisions. It makes my life a lot easier. And the biggest plus is not feeling like passing out all the time. If I'm being honest, it's extremely worth it.
During this process, I learned how to construct a solid movie. It easily got my point forward. At the end, you could clearly see I take better care of my diabetes. I succeeded very well.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I followed the rules and regulations o f the pictures I saved. I used creative commons license. I also used the iMovie audio. Therefore, it's all safe to use. With these tools, I'm not infringing on anyone's property.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding a solid topic for my movie. I was able to do it by using my list of 10. Because of this, I got a good, quality movie. The topic I ended up was how I started taking better care of my diabetes.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of my video. The reason why I would change it is because I would be able to get more information in. Therefore, it would make more sense. And in the end, it would be more finished.

My project connects to the Empowered Learner CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in video producing. A specific job is The WNET Group.
