Daily Log

Day 1- I was absent

Day 2- I made my planning questions and list of good ideas. I also started on my world.

Day 3- I made an official design for my world.

Day 4- I tested my world on VR.

Day 5- I explored all the details in my VR world

Day 6- I made the video for my world and screenshot the code for the spaceship.

Day 7- I was absent

Day 8- I did my reflection.

Day 9- I was completely done so I turned it in.

• Using Cospaces and the VR supplies, I created a story world because I wanted to make a imaginary witch world. I made a simple story. It was still entertaining, though. There were three stages. These were the intro, climax, and resolution.

• During this process, I learned how to code items to move with certain commands. At the end of the story there was a a rocket ship. To make it realistic I made it so that when you click on the rocket ship the door closes. This way, it seemed like a movie.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because in the start, I didn't know how to make interaction commands. Through a bunch of experimentation, I learned how to code the rocket ship to close when you click on it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was to code interactions. I was able to do it by experimenting with different codes and commands. In the end, I learned how to command the rocket to close when you click on it. I also added fire to make it like a real rocket ship launch.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the story is. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to make it more involving. Instead, I used this opportunity to experiment with different fun elements.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Vr product manager. In this job you will make models of very specific content. By doing it in VR, the model will be way more immersive. You will be able to see through the object and inside of it. This way, people can get practice and training without wasting resources.
