7P1- Video Project

Day 1- I used my iPad to add pictures to my movie. I played around with some sounds and pictures. Nothing was official.

Day 2- I made my images official and and tested sounds.

Day 3- I figured out what music to use. I decided what to make the video about. Sadly, I had to start everything over.

Day 4- I started to find images about my topic. I found a bunch of my favorite treats.

Day 5- I added all of my sounds and recorded. Since I had done so much editing it was perfect. My voice sounded different but it wouldn't change.

• Using an iPad, iMovie, and Google chrome, I created a movie. The movie is about my favorite treats because I am very passionate about my favorite treats. They're perfect for movies and special occasions, etc.

• During this process, I learned how to get an image that isn't copyrighted. I used these images for a movie. I learned how to transition images. I also learned to record my voice and add music to it. I learned how to add titles so that you know what I'm talking about.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner and Knowledge Constructor because I had a basic understanding of iMovie. I learned more about it and used that to make the movie.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the music I wanted. I could only find music with very loud and high notes. I didn't want it to overtake my voice. I was able to do it by finding a easy going song. I then figured how to turn down the volume to help it even more.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fade of my voice. You were able to change the fade but I hadn't noticed it. The reason why I would change it is because it would make the sound quality a lot better. There were some times where you could barely hear my voice.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Media CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in animating dog training videos in Dogology University.
