Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project? 3D printer, computer, and tinkercad.
What is your plan to create in this project? My plan is to create a tenor drum.
What unique qualities will your project have to separate it from other peoples’ projects? it will be a cool drum that no one has done, at least in the class.
Project Log
Day one: I set up my site and began to build by project. I finished it in an hour.
Day Two: I finished up my site, and began printing my project.
Using 3D print, I created a quad drum off of the 3d printer. I did this because it seemed like a fun project. It ended up turning out well.
During this process, I learned how to make a quad drum. It was built and constructed pretty well. I didn't really have any problems other than the drum sticks.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner, because all of the stuff I made, is original. I took the Idea of the quads from the high school, and I made a tiny version of them.
A challenge I overcame on this project were the drum sticks. I was able to do it by making sure that they were at least connected. They turned out as good as I could make them.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change The drum sticks. The reason why I would change it is because they can be improved, but it will be a little bit harder to do. They just need to look better.
