Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working in a team.
What materials will you need for your project? Editing software, an iPad, a computer, and a tripod.
What is your plan to create in this project? My plan is to create an Interview using iMovie.
What unique qualities will your project have to separate it from other peoples’ projects? It will be a green screen video, and no one is doing a green screen video at the moment.
Project Log
Day One: We first got the planning stuff done, and got down to planning what we will do. We are getting ready to plan out the beginning of the interview, and get the iPad ready.
Day Two: Balian wasn't here, so I instead fixed up my 8P1 page, and made it look nicer. I also got some green screen backgrounds downloaded for the green screen video, so I am ready for Tuesday.
Day Three: We did some of the interviews with no edits so we can edit later on the computer.
Day Four: We forgot to do the interviews with a microphone, so we had to redo them all, but we fixed some of the old problems that we had with recording.
Day Five: We started editing our videos, and we shortened a lot of the video.
Day Six: We finished up the editing process, and made some final touches to our project, and submitted it.
Using iMovie, I created a green screen video. I did this because because it seemed like a fun project to work on. There were a lot of challenges that we had to face during the project.
During this process, I learned how to use the green screen better. I had to learn how to edit better in iMovie as well. I also learned how to edit and record better.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor. I know this because I used the knowledge I had, to create something I wouldn't have known how to do beforehand.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the editing process. I was able to do it by messing with it for a little bit until we figured it out. There were a few things that took a while, but we did it in the end.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the people we interviewed. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to see what the outcome of it would be. It could be very different with different people.
