Using cardboard, cardboard scissors, hot glue, and tape, I created a koala hanging from a tree because we thought that it would be an easy project.
During this process, I learned that it is hard to create animals out of cardboard.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because we had to look up images of what a koala looks like and how to build it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the body. I was able to do it by rebuilding it and making it better.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made out of cardboard. The reason why I would change it is because we didn't do a good job and it was a mediocre project .
