Review Questions

• Using CoSpaces, and a merge cube I created a story about a man who has no sugar, so he goes to the store. There was still no sugar, so he goes to his neighbors, and he gets yelled at. I made it because it is an original and funny idea in my opinion.

• During this process, I learned how to use and make things in CoSpaces. I also learned how to animate my characters to make the more expressive, I did not go into coding them to walk / move though. I also learned how to make my characters talk without my voice over but not verbally, with text boxes.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I set a goal of making a story about a man with no sugar and I did. I also asked some friends about some of the tools and how to t things. Lastly, I found some of the tools myself.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to make my characters make hand and body gestures. I was able to do it by looking through the boxes and finding animation. even then I still needed to know how to do reacions and other things like that, so I just kept exploring the boxes.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the animation, I think that I did it well but I could have done it better, like by coding the animation to make it more life like. The reason why I would change it is because I feel that it felt kind of rushed even though I had time. I also think that it would look better and make me feel better about the quality of my cube.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia, because I made a story using technology. I also shared said story to various people on my website. making this the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in digital specialist's because I made an used digital resources to make a story. then I used more tools like screen recording to take a video of my cube. Then, I used iMovie to put final edits and my voice over.
