Using iMovie, a monitor, a makey makey, and tools such as screwdrivers I created a set of switches that press W, A, S, and D because I couldn't decide on a project so I took a few parts and made something out of them.
During this process, I learned how to use the makey makey and which wire goes to what button on the switches.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I needed to learn how to take apart the monitor and what to make out of it as I said earlier.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing what to make. I was able to do it by switching my project about 3 times till I found something I wanted to do.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made initially. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I wasted a bunch of time trying to think of a project to make.

My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers like electrition because I worked with wires and electricity.
