8P4-Ada fruit

Using a computer and a ada fruit, I created a alarm because I wanted to make a motion alarm from my favorite game. I did this because I wanted to challenge myself. Also create a replica from one of my favorite games that is also functional.

During this process, I learned how to code motion activation and display. I also learned how to use a ada fruit and how to put the program into the system. Another thing I learned is the ada fruit software and how to get what you want using code blocks.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I had created my own designs. It could also connect to empowered learner. I think this because I created my goal of creating a working replica of a alarm trap and I reached it. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was my files deleting. I was able to do it by not closing my stuff instantly. after I fixed that issue I had no problems with any of the software.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change is that their all alarms. The reason why I would change it is because I wish I did a bit more variation. I think i would do some sort of game next time.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to Computer programming at the high school because I had used a computer to create code and code a ada fruit to act like an alarm. Also because I had learned how to code from this project.

My project connects to careers in programming because I programmed a device to activate from motion. I had also created a alarm from sound, falling and by a switch. I had also programmed the ada fruit from my computer.
