Day 1
Today I worked on my list of ideas and planning questions. I then figured out what buttons I wanted made.
Day 2
Today I printed out some pictures and made 5 buttons.
Day 3
Today I printed out more pictures and made 5 more buttons.
Day 4
Today I made a video showcasing all of my buttons. Above is the video.
Using button materials and a button maker, I created 10 different buttons. I did this because a lot of people in my class have done it before and said that it was very fun. I also did this because I wanted to learn the process of how buttons are made.
During this process, I learned is that you can really make anything a button. I made actors, athletes, movie characters, and more. I also learned that button making is much easier than it looks.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner. My project ties to this standard because I set a goal and kept track of that goal through my daily log.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to make buttons. I was able to do it by asking friends for help. Mr. Renner also had instructions by the button supplies.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my Sonic buttons. The reason why I would change it is because I have 2 of the same character. They are 2 different pictures but I still should have made a adifferent character.
