Using Keva Planks, I created a Roman Colosseum. I did this because I thought that would be the best looking world wonder to make. I also did this because I am interested in Roman history.
During this process, I learned that it's best to experiment with the shape and size of a design to get it to look right. I also learned that you have to be extremely careful when creating structures like this. We accidentally made it collapse numerous times.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner. My project ties to this standard because I set a goal and kept track of that goal with the daily log.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having our creation collapse multiple times. I was able to do it by restarting and making it more stable. In the end, this helped tremendously
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the scale of our project. The reason why I would change it is because it seemed smaller than we planned. I would also love to see it in a bigger scale.
