Daily log
1- I was doing another assignment
2-Doing another assignment then started brainstorming
3-I started to do my project
4-I started to actually add designs
5.- I started to code the stuff I needed
6.-I started to finish it and looked in VR for the first time
7.-I added some different stuff and made it more difficult
8.-I looked to see if my project works in VR and edited it a little bit
9.- I uploaded it to my website and started my reflection
Using co-spaces , I created a find the button map. I did this because I thought it would be different from the basic zoo. Also It needed more coding than a lot other basic things.
During this process, I learned how to make complicated codes in cospaces. Also I learned how to come over challenges I had to face to save time. I also had to learn how to change since what we are doing in this cospace project is much different then the other cospaces project.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I knew almost nothing about coding in cospaces. Also the only idea I had on this was in the merge cube project and that was much different then the VR part.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to code. I was able to do it by trial and failure and when it didn't work I tried it again. I was also able to do it by asking for assistance from the people around me.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long it to take me to do the code. The reason why I would change it is because it took way too much time to try and get it right. I would also change it because when I was doing it I had homework multiple days during this project.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game play programmer (VR) and AR game developer.
