7P1 - Video Project

Daily Log

Day one-  I started my website then I searched and put pictures in my video

Day two- I searched and put in more pictures

Day three- I started to put in sound and songs

Day four- I put in transitions and captions on all the pictures

Day five- I made and put on my voice over than uploaded it 

Day six- I had a few people review my video and tell me what I needed to fix

• Using iPads, internet, and iMovie I created a movie about some of my favorite things because I wanted to show somethings I enjoy. Some of these things include my favorite football teams, my favorite candy, and food. I wanted to do this because I can express some of the things I enjoy doing and enjoy having.

• During this process, I learned how so save copyright free pictures and put them into iMovie. I also learned how to put transitions and edits in iMovie. Another thing I learned was how to add music and sound effects to videos.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator and Knowledge Constructer because for global collaborator I created a website. For knowledge constructor I went into iMovie not knowing much but came out a lot smarter on this topic. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out how to add all the transitions and different sounds. I was able to do it by searching around the app and asking for help. I also had to overcome how to put in copyright free images I asked for help and found out how to put in copy right free images.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the quality of the pictures I use and the amount of pictures I used. The reason why I would change it is because for the quality I went people to know what they are looking at. For the amount of pictures I would like to add more pictures.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Expert Editor, Editor for travel, and iMovie Tutor.
