8P1-Video Project

Using iMovie, the internet and copywrite free images. I created a video about my new favorite things. I did this because my favorite things have changed since last year.

During this process, I learned how to get copywrite free images and save them to my drive. I also learned how to put those images into my movie and add sound affects. I also learned how to keep the attention of people by adding sound affects to keep them interested.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen. It ties to this because I got copywrite free images and put them into a movie.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting copywrite free images and them looking good and making sense in the project. I was able to do it by asking how the image looks to other people. I also overcame this by searching different things that make sense still and putting this in.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of images I did. The reason why I would change it is because after I already made the projects I had more ideas. Also I feel like I didn't have all the images I wanted and I feel like the time I took to take the images and put them in could be faster.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Videography 42-55 thousand a year and News Editing 31-39 thousand a year.
