Make sure you have your video of a project

• Using tell drones, I created an obstacle course the drones could fly through. I created this because I thought it would be a good challenge because I have never flown a drone before. I also created this because the drones seemed fun and interesting to me.

• During this process, I learned how to fly a drone. I also learned how to navigate through the hoops using the camera on the drone. I learned how to do flips and fly the camera in first person.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. It ties to this because I have never flown a drone before and this was a first-time experience.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was knowing how to fly a drone. I was able to do it by asking friends who have flown the drone before. I was also able to do it by looking up online useful information that could help.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the time we did this project. The reason why I would change it is because we did the drones during a shorter time period project and if we had more time it would have been useful. I would also change how much work we were actually getting done instead of just flying them around the classroom.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Photography and delivery drivers that uses drones.
