Daily Log
Day 1- I started and completed ten good ideas and planning questions
Day 2- I code my name into microbit code and filmed a video of it
Day 3- I created a short story
Day 4- I uploaded it and got it to play on the mirobit
Day 5- I created two new projects but scrapped one of them
Day 6- I finished the project from day 5 which I turned into an expanding heart than me and Aiden made a radio with microbit

Using Microbits, Microbit code, I created my name, an expanding heart, and a short story. I did this because I thought they would be different. I also thought they would be cool and short so I could do multiple quickly.
During this process, I learned how to code better. I also learned how to brainstorm different things. Another thing I learned was how to look in different places for different things
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor and computational thinker. It ties to knowledge constructor because I didn't know almost anything about computer programming until we started this project. It ties to computational thinker because I had to think about what code had to go where to work.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to put in the correct code. I was able to do it by asking for help. I also looked in different places to find the things I need.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how short I made the code. The reason why I would change it is because i felt all my microbit codes were short. I would also do this because I had a lot of time and I could have done more on one than do a bunch of short ones.

My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Java programming 6, computer programmer,Process engineer/CNC programmer .
