8P4-Carboard Challenge

Using Cardboard, hot glue, and cardboard Scissors, I created a vending machine. I created this because we wanted to create a Juggernog machine from our favorite game Call of Duty: Black Ops II. We also created it because we wanted a challenge to figure out how to create a working pully system and how to implement it with it looking nice. 

During this process, I learned how to create a functional vending machine without any mechanics. We also learned how to find something to do so we could all equally work on the project. We also learned how to conserve time because the timeframe we had was very limited and we needed a way to make it all work out so we had to do different things at one time and combine them together.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. It ties to this beacuse I worked with other people to create a new design.

A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the cans fall. I was able to do it by asking the people in our class what would be a good mechanic and a mechanic that isn't super coplex. Another challenge I over came was the amount of time we had. I over came it by us all working together on different things.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change not painting or coloring the box. The reason why I would change it is because the box looks kind of unattractive to look at. I would also change the time since we did this right before the end of the quarter so we could not get extra time on it.
