8 P9 - Code

Using code.org I created an art design. I made a couple of designs. I made this project because I needed a project to do and I thought the art code would be fun and easy.

During this process, I learned how to use code to make art. I also learned how to put together the code and figure out what numbers I need for my repeats to make my design.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an Innovative designer. It ties to this because I had to change the numbers on my repeaters for my code. I also had to change my design.

A challenge I overcame was finding the right code blocks. I also had issues trying to get the design I had in mind to work on with the code. I overcame this problem by changing around my code and picking different numbers to get my design right.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many designs I did or kind of make it more unique. The reason I would change this is that it's not really unique or complex. I would like to make it more of my design.
