7P5 Merge Cube

Using Merge Cube Isabella and I made a scary story involving a Ouija Board and talking to a old friend that passed. We decided to do this story because we thought doing something with a background story in with it to build more to the whole story. In the story they were talking to a old friend and once everyone went outside to see if it was all fake everyone disappeared.

During this process I learned that the merge cube was surprisingly just like the VR and it's easy to code and use. We also learned that when doing merge cube project it takes a while to code and do all of the placing so we should have made a smaller story. Merge Cube was pretty fun and is really cool to look at because it looks like a hologram also.

One of the seven standards that i link to in this project is empowered learner. I picked Empowered learner because we had to really learn and try our hardest with the learning to code the merge cube. Merge cube was pretty easy to learn how to code because it was just like VR, but on a cube.

A challenge we overcame in this project was being able to fit all of our long story onto only some really small and difficult scenes. We also had to do our videos in a bunch of different videos because it wouldn't let us do just one long video. We also took forever because the coding was complicated for our story. We were able to overcome these challenges by just doing a bunch of different videos to fit it all in.

Given a chance to do this again I would make it so our story was shorter and not so complicated. The reason I would do this is because it took us a while to fit everything into our merge cubes because our story was so long and complicated. I would also re-do how we had our merge cube set up.

This projects connects to careers in making new and advanced Electronics that will affect and help our futures. Like Hologram type technology for helping jobs. Also, VR like technology for entertainment purposes in the future.
