What is your plan to create in this project?
To create a cat in the hat song
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will have a unique beat to go along with the lyrics
Using sound trap and voice memo's, I created a cat in the hat song because we were inspired by the Dr. Seuss rap guy.
During this process, I learned how to make a song using the resources provided in the classroom.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I was able to design a beat that went along with the song.
A challenge I overcame on this project was a lack of knowledge about how to record the lyrics, how to make a beat, and how to put it all together. I was able to do it by researching and trial and error.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the beat. The reason why I would change it is because I would like the opportunity to experiment more with it and find the best possible beat for that song.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in producing.
