I created a keyboard that has the capabilites of being conected to a chromebook to make music.

Sentence Starters

Using cardboard, scissors and makey makey's, I created a keyboard because it will be part of our band.
During this process, I learned how to program a makey makey and create things out of cardboard.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I learned how to create things out of cardboard and how to program a makey makey.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having to share supplies with many other group members. I was able to do it by working it out, and using other resources in the room.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the structure of the board. The reason why I would change it is because i feel like it is a little flimsy, and it would help stabilize some of the weight on the board.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in being a Pianist.
