Using iMovie, my iPad and the green screen room, I created a Daily announcement program because our school has not had one for some time.
During this process, I learned lots about recording, microphones, and tons about editing.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I constructed a lot of knowledge about the whole recording and producing a video on a small scale.
A challenge I overcame on this project was a lack of in front of camera experience. I was able to do it by doing our best to make the best product.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the green screen. The reason why I would change it is because I would make it much better if i got a second chance to do it again, I would want to make the best product for my classmates.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Video Producer.
