Reflection
Using drones, I created a video of me flying drones through obstacles because I haven't tried it before and I thought it would be fun.
During this process, I learned how to fly drones and maneuver through obstacles using the drones.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed a course for the drones.
A challenge I overcame on this project was that I didn't know how to fly drones. I was able to do it by Charlie and Jay helping me out and teaching me.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the obstacles. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to try a more difficult course.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in drone piloting.
