7P10 S.T.E.A.M Project

Reflection

• Using CoSpaces, I created a VR world with a movie theater because I believe that this would get me the finest grade possible on this project.

• During this process I learned how to insert a movie into CoSpaces. I also have added to my abundance of knowledge in 3-D design. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed a new VR world and I innovated by using and creating a new product. In addition to this I created a way to make all of the seating in the movie theater attainable. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was the inability to insert the movie into my VR world. I was able to overcome this challenge by learning from my peers and using the how to manual in the settings of the website.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the formation of my movie theater. The reason why I would change it is because the formation does not feel like a real movie theater. The layout feels fabricated and involuntarily placed.  

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  After researching on Indeed.com, I have found that my project connects to careers in 3-D Character Artistry. I have found this to be the job description most relevant to the skills used on this project.
