To locate and somewhat name or recognize parts.

It will show different parts of the computer I could name.
Day 1
I started tearing down the torn computer and I did my list of ten.
Day 2
I finished tearing the computer down and I took pictures and started a video.
Day 3
Added the pictures to the website, did my planning questions, and started the reflection.
Day 4
Started and finished tearing down a phone and I took pictures.

I added the pictures to my website and finished the video and added it to the website

Using a computer, a iPad, screwdrivers, and a broken computer, I created a video and details about the different parts that i know of because I didn't know the different parts of a computer. I didn't know what a computer fan looked like. I didn't know how a computer worked or the orientation of the parts.
During this process, I learned many different parts of a computer and their names. Where different parts are located and discovered. How a computer works and runs.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I can locate different parts. I can describe and define different parts. Finally I can describe in fine detail how a computer works.
A challenge I overcame on this project was naming the different parts of a computer. I was able to do it by locating where the parts were. I was also able to do it by knowing what each part does.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the lack of knowledge I have about the insides of computers and phones. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to be better at naming these parts of a device. Another reason is I would like to be able to describe how each part works and runs.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Empowered Learner CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because I can locate and name different parts of a computer and phone.
My project connects to careers in Software Reverse Engineering because I tore apart a computer and phone. I located parts of a computer and phone. Finally I know how each part is suppose to go and work for a computer or phone to run.
