I am working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

Tinkercad, iPad, computer, and 3d printer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

A coin.

What unique qualities will your project have?

It is going to be a coin.

Daily Log

Day 1: I looked for a new project and decided on the sewing machine.

Day 2: I looked for more information by looking at sewing videos.

Day 3: Looked around and changed my design.

Day 4: I made two pieces so I could have two drawstring bags.

Day 5: sewing machine broken had to do new project decided on 3d printing, I am going to add the tails side and hope to have it start printing.

Day 6: Emailed the finished design did Reflection (and on Day 7 I will hope to make the video and hope to publish).

Day 7: I got my print and took a couple pictures and made a video.

Reflection

• Using a iPad, computer, Tinkercad, and a 3d printer, I created a coin that heads always wins because my dad has a coin similar with the same text.

• During this process, I learned nothing because I already have experience in creating things in Tinkercad.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed a coin and text with it to create one structure.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring what to do for project. I was able to do it by staying positive.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what project I did at first or at least put in more effort so that I would've been able to sew. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't sew and spent most my time trying to sew.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in 3d designing.
