7P5 and 6 - Robot project

Day one: I met my partner in this project and we started to try out a robot.

Day two: we had the Sphero go in a square and made the video for it.

Day three: we made the video of dash and will edit it tomorrow and I added the sphero video to this website.

Day four: we did the iRobot thing and made a video

Day five: edited video.

Day six: added video.

Day seven: fixed videos.

Day eight:  Did my list of ten.

Day nine: Planning questions.

Day ten: I turned in my project.

What materials will you need for your project?

A computer, a robot, and a iPad.

What is your plan to create in this project?

A dancing robot.

What unique qualities will your project have?

It would be dancing.

Reflection

• Using iMovie, an iPad, a computer, and a robot, I created a video and code for multiple different robots because I was tasked to make a few videos and a few code for this project.

• During this process, I learned how to code a robot.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because my group and I had to come up with code for each robot.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code and overcoming problems within a group. I was able to do it by working together for a equalized answer.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my group members. The reason why I would change it is because they are annoying me.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Innovative designer CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Robotic programming.
