An Empowered Learner is someone that is really active for their own learning process. An Empowered learner has lots of skills like knowledge, and resources to be able to take control of their learning journey all the will till the end of college, and also to improve learning outcomes as you get older. Secondly, when you are an Empowered Learner you are going to build networks with other people and be good friends. When you build your network, you are also going to be able to customize your learning environments. Finally, an Empowered Learner needs to be able to understand the fundamental concepts for technology operations.
A Digital Citizen is a person that uses the internet and takes that information for some project they are doing. A digital citizen gets the information and also offers it to many things. Digital Citizens also make social interactions with people online and use networked devices a lot. Digital citizens demonstrate the understanding of respect for rights and sharing of intellectual property. Digital Citizens manage their own data for digital privacy and for security. They are also aware of data collection technology.
To be a Knowledge Constructor, you need to be able to plan and employ effective researching strategies so you can locate information for other resources and for other people to use. Secondly, to be a Knowledge Constructor you need to be able to evaluate the accuracy, perspective, credibility, and relevance information for social media, data or even other resources. Furthermore, you need to be able to curate information from digital resources and work with a variety of tools and methods to create collections of artifacts, which demonstrate meaningful connections or possibly conclusions.
An Innovation and Designer asks lots of questions about an authentic topic. Innovation and designers brainstorm ideas for the questions that person has. To be an Innovated designer, you need to be able to know and use deliberate design processes for generating ideas. You also need to be able to select and use digital tools to plan and also manage a design process. Innovation and Designers also take a lot of risks. Finally, they develop, tests, and refine prototypes.
To be a Computational Thinker you need to be able to formulate problem definitions which are from technology and which are based on assisted methods such as data analysis, abstract models and algorithms. Computational Thinkers also collect data and can also identify relevant data sets. They also use digital tools to analyze them and to represent the data for many things like problem solving. Computational Thinkers break up parts of a problem, extract key information, and develop descriptive models that explain what something means. Finally, Computational Thinkers need to be able to understand how automation works and need to be able to do algorithmic thinking to develop stuff.
To be a Creative Communicator you get to choose an appropriate platform and tools for meeting certain goals of their creation or communication. Secondly, to be a Creative communicator you have to create original work or maybe responsible repurpose or remix digital resources if you really want to. Furthermore, you have to create ideas really clearly and have to be effective by creating or possibly using a variety of digital gadgets such as models and many more. Finally, to be a Creative Communicator you have to publish stuff or present projects which customize messages and mediums for their audiences.
To be a Global Collaborator you get to use digital equipment to connect with people that are still learning their perspectives. They also get to enrich their learning by collaborating with many other people/engaging. Global Collaborators also use collaborative technology to work with the people they want to work with. Furthermore, Global Collaborators contribute constructively on projects, and do different roles. They also have to have responsibilities to work when they are trying to achieve their goals. Finally, they get to explore local and global issues around the world. They use collaborative technologies to work with others and solve their problems/issues.
You will need to Google “Design Thinking” and then write a 3 to 5-sentence paragraph showing your understanding of the concept.
“Design Thinking”
Design thinking is a mindset and approach to problem-solving, and which is anchored around human centered designs. Design Thinking is different from innovation and ideation process because Design Thinking focuses on the solution for the problem and instead of the problem itself. Here is one example, if someone is struggling with a problem, design thinking will give you a solution to solve that problem. Here is one more example, if Suzie had a technical problem, Design Thinking will help solve that one problem.
