Day 10: Today I made my reflection for my 7p8 Stop Motion project.
This is my 7p8 Stop motion video:
Using iMotion, ipad, I created a Stop Motion project because I wanted to try new things that I have never done before. Secondly, I made a Stop Motion project because I got to deal with Lego's and which I think Legos are fun to play with. Finally, with Lego's you can build anything with Lego's and you can also make a Stop Motion video with Lego's which I think is really cool.
During this process, I learned how to make a Stop Motion video out of Lego's. Secondly, during this process I learned how to use iMotion for the first time and I also learned how to transfer the video off iMotion onto iMovie. Finally, I also got to learn how Stop Motion works and how people make Stop Motion videos.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I used an appropriate platform and tools for my project. Secondly, we made a project that we can use digital tools to fix up the mistakes on it. Finally, when I got done editing my Stop Motion video, I put it on my website and published it so many people can see it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was editing my Stop Motion video to make it right. Secondly, another challenge I overcame was to take 1,080 pictures and have those pictures be perfect. I was able to do it by having my partner and I look over the video to see if we think the video is right and ready to have it published around the world. Secondly, I was able to be focused on my project and not get distracted on other things. I decided to take 3-4 pictures for each movement for my Stop Motion Project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the video is made. I would also change the way the sound affects are and rearrange the sound affects to different spot on the video. The reason why I would change it is because some of the sound affects are probably in the wrong spot in the video. I would also rearrange the sound affects because some of the sound affects sound pretty boring, so I would put new sound affects in to replace the old sound affects.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Stop Motion animators because I created an illusion video by taking one frame at a time, which is for every movement of each character. Secondly, I took over 1,080 pictures which I had to repeat every movement over again.
