Using the PC, Circuit Playground express chip, and AdaFruit Circuit Playground Express website, I created games that I can have fun with because I wanted to try new things and make games so I can play. Secondly, I also wanted to make games so I can use those games to help people trying to make these games in the future. Finally, I also goto make music on the Circuit Playground Express chip.
During this process, I learned to use a Circuit Playground Express, and I also learned how to code different things. Secondly, I also learned that I can't make as many games as the Micro:Bit project. Finally, I also learned how to make different games that I can have fun with and learn how to code that kind of game.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an innovated designer because I generated many ideas so I can think of a game to make or many other things. During this process I had to use digital tools to make my coding. During this process, I had to take lots of risks and develop many projects.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to code certain games. Secondly, another challenge I overcame was how to make it be able to use the side buttons on the Circuit Playground Express chip. Finally, I was able to do it by watching tutorials of how to make that one game. Furthermore, I also had a classmate help me to make that one coding part.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way my games are coded. Secondly, In would change the colors are put together for every game I created. The reason why I would change it is because my games are not going to be perfect and I think they should be perfect.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Software Engineering because I went through the steps that software engineering went follow. To design my projects I had to think of ideas to make many types of games. During this process, I had to code my games that I had made so they can actually work. Secondly, I had to test every part of that game to see if that one part of that game worked properly. Finally, I had a really fun time with this project. I thought this project was really cool.
