Be able to make something that will solve a problem.
Day 1: Today I made a new subpage called 7p5 3D Design. I made my list of 10 and my planning questions. Finally, I started to make my first part of my project.
Day 2: I got to work more on my 3D Design. And I made a desk with a Pc and monitors on it.
Day 3: Today I finished one of my projects, and I also started to make a new project, which was my earbud case project.
Day 4: Today I worked more on my earbud case project and finished my earbud case.
Day 5: Today I made a new project and started to work on that project, which was the chisel I made.
Day 6: Today I started to work more on a new project which is a Tic Tac Toe board. I put together the base and the walls for the outer edge of the board.
This is my 7p5 3D Design project:
Day 7: Today I started on a new 3D Design project which is a phone stand. I also finished my phbone stand.
Day 8: Today I my reflection and I exported my 3D Design project onto google classroom.
Day 9: Today I made my video project for my 7p5-3D Design Project.
My Reflection:
Using Tinker Cad, I created many projects like a chisel, earbud case, and many other things because for this project I had to make something that will solve a problem. I also made these projects because I needed a earbud case because if I drop my earbud cases on the ground, it will end up[ breaking so I made a earbud case. I made a chisel because my parents are running out of chisels and when we need to use a chisel we need to have a back up just in case the old one breaks.
During this process, I learned how to use the website called TinkerCad. Secondly, I also learned how to use the tools on TinkerCad. Finally, I got to learn how to export my project onto google classroom.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovated Designer because I brainstormed lots of ideas, and I used digital tools to plan and also to manage design processes.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to be able to make tools on TinkerCad rotate and how to make that one thing line up with each other thing. I was able to do it by asking some of my classmates how to rotate the objects. To line them up I searched up on google how to make everything line up perfectly.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way of how big my earbud case is. The reason why I would change it is because if it doesn't fit I would have to change the size of my earbud case and I would have to do it all over again by adjusting the size of it. I would also change the way I have built all of the projects I have made. That's because some of my project are kind of boring and I would change the way they are built.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in 3D Designer because I used a computer software to create three-dimensional models to make something out of 3D stuff. When I am a 3D Designer I would make those 3D Designs be able to solve a problem or make them be able to use them in a game, movies, and product design. Finally, to be a 3D Designer you have to develop virtual representations.
