Day 2: today I started to make my project for the Robot's project.
Day 3: Today I did more coding for my project.
Day 4: Today we worked more on my project.

My Reflection
Using Sphero Mini robot and the ipad, I created a coding project that will make the Sphero Mini robot do stunts like making it jump a ramp because I thought it would be cool. Secondly, I made the robot go really fast and made it do many tricks. Finally, I made the robot attack people and have it chase people too.
During this process, I learned how to code different robots and code them how to different tricks. Secondly, I also learned how to make the robot move forward and make it turn around and make if move backwards toward you. Finally, I learned how to code more and make new codes I've never done before.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I brainstormed a lot of ideas. Secondly, I used digital tools to make my coding for my robot project. Finally, when I got done coding that one part of the robot, I had to test put the coding for that part I made to see if that coding works.
A challenge I overcame on this project was to make the robot go the right way and also find the right pieces of coding on the website. I was able to do it by watching 1 part of a tutorial to see what pieces of coding will make the robot go forward and backwards. I was also able to do it by looking over and over again to find the right piece of coding for that one part.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the position of the ramp and make the robot do more tricks. The reason why I would change it is because the way I coded the robot was kind of boring and not as cool. The reason I would also change the way the ramps are is because I had to keep rotation the ramp back and fourth because I only had 1 ramp and not 2.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Software Engineer (Robotics) because during the process I did to make my coding for my project, I developed a software/coding project to make the robot move back and fourth and do many other things, which enables the robotic system. Secondly, I tested every part of coding to see if that part of that coding process is working properly. Finally, when you are done with the process, you are going to update that project to make the coding look better.
