Make sure you have your video of a project

• Using the iPad, Computer, and iMovie, I created a movie about me that is full of pictures and lots of audio of how I have changed from last year because I thought all of this would be really fun and a creative way to show people of how much I have changed from last year and to show how much stuff I really like. Another reason I have created this video is because I want the video to really represent me and to show how much stuff I am really interested in throughout my life.

• During this process, I learned a lot about iMovie and how much it actually works. One thing that I really liked about iMovie is that you can edit and rearrange as many things as you want. As I got done editing and rearranging my pictured I added sound affects and it made my movie look really cool and made it run very smooth. Another thing I have learned throughout this whole process of iMovie, I learned how important it is to pay attention to the little things to make the video right.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator standard because we are publishing these videos so everyone in the world can see them. This can also mean that we are sharing multiple ideas and our creativity with the whole entire world. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding good pictures for my movie. I was able to do it by getting rid of all of the copy right pictures and make sure those pictures are safe for anyone to see. All of this taught me how important it is to respect copyright rules when you are creating digital projects. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way my voice recording is. The reason why I would change it is because I can improve my tone, be able to make it so it is the perfect tone, and make it fit my video the best I can. Next time I would make sure my tone is perfect and make sure it fits perfectly into my movie.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School. This project made me see what it is like to work in digital multi-media.

• My project connects to careers in filmmaking because we made short films about what we are like and of how we have changed overtime. All of this gave me an idea of what its like to plan ahead, edit, and be able to produce videos. I learned that making movies takes time to make it right so you can get good grades on it. But I was suprised of how good my video was compareed to last year's video.
