7P2 Cardboard Creation

                      REFLECTION

• Using materials like cardboard, tape hot glue, and paper I created mini games like corn hole, mini golf, and a plinko board, because it seemed like a fun thing to create and fun to experience.

• During this process, I learned things may mess up, but don't give up, try it again.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I communicated clearly and expressed myself to my team to say the ideas I wanted, I also used tools and digital media to help with my project.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was only being able to use cardbord/paper. I didn't know how I was going to make the bing bags for corn hole. I was able to do it by crumbling up paper and putting a colorful piece on top of it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change to communicate with my team more to hear more ideas they like and they can hear more ideas I like. The reason why I would change it is because we could've maybe got more games done or did the games better.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Cardboard Prototyping for Structural Model because I have experience in carboard engineering and creating a structural model using cardboard.
