8P1 - Video Project

Using iMovie, I created an about me video about sports, books, and interments that I like. I created this video to show different things about me. I did this because I like to to all of those things.

During this process I learned a couple of things. One being how to better use the iMovie voice over tool. Another thing I learned was how to search specifically for not copywritten images to use in my video.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen. It ties to this because I created a video and shared it on a public website without breaking any copywrite laws.

I overcame challenges during this project. The challenge I overcame on this project was getting pictures for the video from google without using any copywritten material. I was able to do it by using the usage rights filter settings to search for copywrite free images.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the voice over. The reason why I would change it is because I don't like the quality of sound in the video. I might also change the background music.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in content developing and film editing.
