writing bOb with iRobot video
dash slingshot video
video for sphero mini driving in shapes
video for party bomb
Using the coding apps, Lego, and robots I finished all of the challenges. I made a dash slingshot a tire, a shero mini drive in shapes, an iRobot spell a name, and made a party bomb out if the bolt. I did this because because It fit the criteria for the project and was fun to do.
During this process, I learned how to code better. I did this in a couple of ways. For example, when I did the party bomb challenge I learned how to have an action make the code start.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen. It ties to this because I have documented it on a public website without violating any copyright laws.
A challenge I overcame on this project was that I didn't know how to code the Bolt hardly at all. There are 2 ways I overcame this challenge. The first thing I did was ask classmates for help. The second thing was using what they told me to help guide me when I did trial and error.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I coded the iRobot to write. The reason why I would change it is because I don't like how boxy the letters are. Also I feel as if I could have done a lot better of a job it I had taken more time on it.
